So our old AirPort Extreme (the last Mac mini form factor model) just gave up the ghost. Was working when we woke up, then about an hour ago it went away. No power at all. Luckily I had bought a new model refurb a couple of weeks ago. Now up and running with much better speed and consistent connectivity throughout the house. Was actually going to use the new one in the new house so we would have connectivity in both houses during the overlap. Guess it is time to order another refurb.

We are also staying put since it is tracking west. Verizon just sent a message that we have free unlimited voice, text and data for the next two days. Let the streaming begin!

We are up in Daytona so we will make a final decision on what to do on Friday. However, based on what happened during Matthew and the direction the tracks are moving we are likely to stay. Have over 50 gallons of water, a shitload of canned and dry foods, three propane tanks and much alcohol. HC party time.

So finally done with soccer tournament weekend one. Tired as fuck. Two games yesterday at 3:30 and 8:15. Got home about 11 and finally got all cleanup and laundry done by about 2:00 am. Up at 6:15 for a 8:50 am and 2:00 pm game today. Much better results this year compared to last as they ended up 3-1. Most of that is due to their new coach, Michael Caine. He is a Brit but I do not hold that against him. I actually like him a lot because we both seem to enjoy a nice bevy every now and again.

Opening tournament of the fall soccer season Update: 3-1 with an awesome free kick goal by one of our center backs. Next game at 8:15.

S'truth. When I bought my built-in vermouth fridge for under the bar it was suggested that I buy a unit made for confined spaces. The hot air was vented under the unit and out the front. Will try to dig a little to find the brand but it is still back in IL. It was a commercial unit so I think Nate's suggestion looks good. May be back here in a few months since the new house has lots of space and a new bar is in the future plans.

Chelsea looked very solid in their win today, I think they will be up there duking it out with the Manchester Clubs. I also found out where Huddersfield is today.

Been keeping an eye on the Denafrips units for a while, but it will be a while before I pull the trigger.
