  6. Went kayaking at Silver Springs today. Great day for wildlife viewing. Tons of water birds, basking turtles and alligators and most importantly our first manatees. Now relaxing with a wee dram (see imbibing thread for more details).

  18. If that was directed at me, my problem is actual physical space for the monitors as I really prefer side-by-side and not over-and-under.
  19. I have an older Synology 5 drive unit and it has been rock solid for over 5 years. I highly recommend them for both their hardware and software. I will also be buying one of the new Mac mini’s as my new home computer. Need to figure out how to mount two monitors since there will not be a a laptop monitor.

  21. I’m certainly glad that Madrid at least had the good sense to sack Lopetegui. Never really liked him and never thought he was actually a very good manager.
  22. Agreed, I just may buy one for a home desktop machine. Still waiting for them to get off their ass with the Mac Pro so I can get a real bioinformatics workstation that doesn’t run Linux.
