  1. I'm not sure who their target market is with that price tag?

Excellent, I owe you a drink. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Really? You're actually going to have space for members gear? Is that even possible?
  3. There is a DVD for Trinity Revisited but I do not think there is one for the original Trinity Sessions.
  4. F. Alton Everest, Master Handbook of Acoustics
  5. Happy Birthday, Cable Man.
  6. Having had samples of each simultaneously, I went with the RF15. True, as long as you believe those specifications totally define the performance of the pot and believe all manufacturers provide exactly comparable specifications.
  7. Good question.
  8. $250 for stereo
  9. I bought mine from: Dale Manquen at MANCO 1694 Calle Zocalo Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 (805) 529-2496 [email protected] M A N Q U E N . N E T Be aware that the RF15 can be ordered normally with a maximum of 10K resistance. When I ordered mine they also had one piece with 20K resistance (which I purchased) so my guess is they will do higher values as special orders but I have no idea what the minimum might be for that.
  10. Happy Birthday Speaker-Man
  11. Early on I was talking to Craig about volume pots and in discussing the RK50 he mentioned that there were other pots that were as good for significantly less money in his opinion. He was pretty flattering to the P&G pots. When I received it I could certainly see why. It was a really good interaction because I certainly learned more about potentiometers than I even thought existed.
  12. The BA uses a volume pot. Mine is using This

  14. I don't know, today is April 1 EDIT: Damn, beat me to it
  15. It was not at the meet pers se. It was uncased so the people who came over to Ray's house after the meet were able to get a little listening time.
  16. I'm moving stuff from photobucket to Flickr and I like Flickr a lot more than photobucket. So I third or fourth the recommendation.
  17. Well I guess I see it as a poor explanation not a contradiction. But I see what you mean.
  18. I guess my expectations are too high. Not surprising.
  19. No they don't. He simply takes the input for the tubes and grounds that. The signal does not go through the 6sN7 tube circuit. I love the rampant speculation in this thread. What other headphone site does that remind me of.
  20. I think the direction of Billy's douchiness actually balances out the thread quite nicely and helps to ameliorate the -umptions.
  21. You may want to give the Senn HD-25 1 II a try using either a stock or balanced Senn 650 headphone cord. They can use any 6xx series cord (easier if you flip the earcups) so recabling isn't a real issue. They work well for me as a desk rig, plus they travel well. You can find them used in your price range, new they are around $300.
  22. I can probably help you out on that.
  23. Bode and Nyquist Plots in Excel
