  1. So? How is it?
  2. I use the older M200x5 in my HT setup. As far as I know the only major difference between the M200 and M2200 is the M2200 has balanced inputs and the M200 does not. The M2200 came out after they introduced their first pre/pro with balanced outputs. I am very happy with my M200's they provide rock solid service and sound very good in the HT setup. They also run very cool which is important to me as I have them rack mounted in a closet. As far as I recall, their was a nice review of the M2200 that had some power output measurements. It is probably listed on the Outlaw site. As far as customer service, they have always been great. When I bought things used (like 3 of my M200s) they always cheerfully transferred the warranty. I also like their paradigm of building no-frills (looks) components with real value. A lot of their management team came over from NAD.

The headmp is better than OK. About as good as on an old Sansui integrated and a NAD preamp, I owned in a previous life. I mainly used an external headamp, but I was going through a lot of different ones at the time so the built-in headamp was used quite often with no lasting scars. I never used the phono-stage so I cannot comment on its quality even If I had heard a Hagerman Bugle.

As a pre it is fairly unobtrusive if you want it to be but it is also very flexible. It has actual tone controls, that really work, but they can be bypassed. It has pre/main outs as Well as a separate subwoofer out with selectable analog bass management (can also be bypassed). The amplifier is quite powerful and quite neutral, lean toward the leaner rather than richer side of neutral. The USB DAC was not very good and my main use was using a computer as source. It also has a MM/MC phono stage but I never used mine since it was in the office. Hope this helps. I believe they have a 30 day trial no questions asked, at least they used to.

As a preamp and amp it is pretty good. Its USB DAC is meh so I sold mine. But for $200 off it is tempting. And you beat me to posting it.
  9. I'm not sure who their target market is with that price tag?

Excellent, I owe you a drink. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Really? You're actually going to have space for members gear? Is that even possible?
  11. There is a DVD for Trinity Revisited but I do not think there is one for the original Trinity Sessions.

  14. Having had samples of each simultaneously, I went with the RF15. True, as long as you believe those specifications totally define the performance of the pot and believe all manufacturers provide exactly comparable specifications.
  15. Good question.

  17. I bought mine from: Dale Manquen at MANCO 1694 Calle Zocalo Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 (805) 529-2496 [email protected] M A N Q U E N . N E T Be aware that the RF15 can be ordered normally with a maximum of 10K resistance. When I ordered mine they also had one piece with 20K resistance (which I purchased) so my guess is they will do higher values as special orders but I have no idea what the minimum might be for that.

  19. Early on I was talking to Craig about volume pots and in discussing the RK50 he mentioned that there were other pots that were as good for significantly less money in his opinion. He was pretty flattering to the P&G pots. When I received it I could certainly see why. It was a really good interaction because I certainly learned more about potentiometers than I even thought existed.
