I used to routinely get 8 - 9 hours when fully charged. I believe they advertise 10+ but I never tried for that long. Eventually the battery will die but they offer one free replacement. It does have to be shipped back for that.

Yep, I was told the same thing when I bought my desktop portable and never noticed any significant decrease in battery life over the time I owned it (approx. 2 years). It was very convenient and made the 7 weeks in SC a lot more musically satisfying.

Just one of the reasons I love this place.
