Thanks everyone. It was pretty much a no-brainer with the speakers being located within relatively easy driving distance. I do have the spikes and the discs so I am going to give those a try once I decide what to use for amplification. I may take you up on the EC footers Al. They may end up working better for stability on a wooden floor.

I had a modified one (zap filter plus a few other mods) for quite a while. It supplanted a Meridian G-08 but was itself supplanted by a Cambridge 840c. I guess I disagree with Steve. Nevertheless it is a solid player except for the transport issues, which I never experienced.

Picked up a few things I can't get locally at Lukas Liquors, like Dolin vermouth. We actually go over to St. Louis a few times a year as it is only about a 2 1/2 hour drive.

I have an Evo 4g. The apps I use the most are tapatalk, photobucket, dropbox, Pandora and PDANet. Until I bought an extended use battery however, the Evo had shitty battery life. Now it is great, rarely below 65% even with broadband, wifi, Bluetooth and GPS on all day.

That would be nice and will probably occur based upon the direction they seem to be going. iPad end = stream-to-me. Mac/PC end = serve-to-me. Seems OK to me, especially when using camera adaptor and Pico DAC/amp.

Or you could just use serve-to-me.
