I'm sure it depends on the professor. The only stress I had with this last student came from an asshat committee member. My job as the major professor was to slap him back into place. Slightly stressful but also quite enjoyable.

x2 on that. After just finishing doing 11 telephone interviews it is surprising how many people have no clue how to interview. My graduate student just finished depositing his thesis. He did a really good job but I'm sure glad that time sink is finished.

Yeah I tried to do an online registration and it would not work so I called them up and that is when they told me that they are no longer a HIE. At the present they are not affiliated with anyone. Still made a reservation with them anyway since it doesn't really matter to me. Just wanted to give people a heads up concerning the web based reservations.

FYI the Holiday Inn Express is no longer a Holiday Inn Express so do not try to make an online reservation.
