  2. Picked up a few odds and ends on my whirlwind trip to Chicago today, including this little puppy that needed a nice home
  3. Had a similar disease, though mine was based out of Kentucky
  4. That Rum Alexander looks very tasty Shelly. Would make a nice nightcap if I had some cream Mixed up a Head-Case version of The Twelve-Mile Limit 1 oz Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum 1/2 oz Thomas H. Handy Rye 1/2 oz Germain Robin Alembic Brandy 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice 1/2 oz Grenadine Shake, double strain and garnish with a lemon twist Cocktail haters beware!

  10. Will the iPad2 3g work on Verizon instead of "that which is unholy and sucks the life out of everything it touches"? Well my plan was to upgrade in the summer. Let's see how patient I really am.
  11. The politically correct name is Rock Dove
  12. Excellent mixology Al, the Third Rail looks especially riveting . I'm about to join you in that thread Mike as I finish the evening with an Aviation ala Marc. I still think I prefer a mix with more Creme de Violette than maraschino. Shelly, the Smith and Cross Navy Strength is a good Jamaican rum, the Wray and Nephew white overproof is excellent if you can find it and I really like the Goslings black seal, especially for the price as an excellent dark rum in the Tiki cocktails and in the Dark and Stormy.
  13. A nicely done drink Al with just the right amounting pomposity in the glassware. Nice Liberal Shelly. I like it also, especially with the higher proof Bourbons. Interesting Aviation Marc, I will have to give it a try with those proportions for comparison. Now a Barnum (Was Right) Cocktail 2 oz Junipero Gin 1 oz Rothman and Winter's Orchard Apricot 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice 2 dashes Fee Brother's Whiskey Barrel Aged Bitters Shake and double strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist befitting P. T. Barnum The only suckers are those not drinking one of these.
  14. A Lucien Gaudin Cocktail 1 oz Junipero Gin 1/2 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth 1/2 oz Cointreau 1/2 oz Campari Stir over ice and strain into a suitably pompous glass En Garde!
