Add the Bourbon and one giant ice cube, stir well for a minute or two. Twist a slice of orange zest on the drink and drop in to the glass. Well, that will certainly get your attention.

I actually use the Digital output of the Touch into the XDA. To me the XDA outclasses the DAC in the Touch. At least in a headphone set-up.

I had the ref7 from the loaner program for a while. Comparing it to the DACMagic, it was better in terms of dynamics and ability to maintain separation in complex passages. Was not as good as the ULN-2 at anything. These are just my impressions but to me the sound was not impressive. The size (especially depth) and weight was pretty damn impressive.

Yep, it depends if you define it by when it starts or ends. My guess is they are defining it by ending date. Makes more sense given the recent information.
