  1. That's the beer that got me through my summer in Veracruz and Puebla with absolutely no GI problems. You are right, it's not beer, it's magic.
  2. 2 of these with dinner
  3. Isn't that a style of Kung Fu?
  4. I just received an email from drinkupny. They now have the Lemonhart 151 in stock! Also some interesting additions from The Bitter Truth.
  5. Installed a new kitchen faucet. Took 2 hours and 15 minutes, 2 hours to remove the old hardware without destroying the sink and 15 minutes to install the new faucet. Did I mention how much I hate anything remotely plumbing related.
  6. Happiest of Birthdays to you.
  7. Good luck on the house sale Ken.
  8. A very Happy Birthday to you good sir.
  9. Nice Al, an improved gin cocktail with genevieve and an aviation with Miller's Welbourne strength. How is the Miller's, I have not had the pleasure of tasting it? Sorry for the lack of cocktail time Shelly but I'm sure your hubby is appreciative, work on the other hand is probably oblivious. Had another Seelbach to finish off the Sophia Blanc de Blanc and now having a Derby 1 oz Bourbon 1/2 oz Carpano Antica 1/2 oz Clement Creole Shrub 3/4 oz Key Lime Juice Shake, double strain and garnish with a sprig of mint.
  10. Cuban was tasty but wanting some Bourbon I went with a Seelbach 1 oz Bourbon 1/2 oz Cointreau 7 dashes Angostura Bitters 7 dashes Peychaud's Bitters Champagne (Blanc de Blanc) Pour first four ingedients into a Champagne flute and stir. Top with Champagne and garnish with an orange twist.
  11. Cuban Cocktail #2 using Al's recipe above
  12. I'm sure that is part of it, but the rest is the usual response time measured in eons.
  13. I'm with you there. WTF is it with Universities? It takes an act of God to switch from heating to cooling and vice-versa.
  14. Happy Birthday Mr. Tannoy
  15. Definitely agree with Dusty on that one.
  16. Happens in Safari also.
  17. Thanks for the complement. A 12 year-old mentality is much preferred by me as opposed to the typical "look at me I'm the fucking expert on the SR-009 and if you disagree with my review(?) your mean" attitude you displayed in your a whiney little bitch post.
  18. Read my original response. I stand by my original post. monsieurguzel has earned a little tolerance IMO as he gets HC, old arnaud, not so much. If you are going to be an arrogant, dismissive prick, at least do it with either humor or style. If you take yourself and your opinions that seriously, as in Arnaud's original post, YOU FAIL. Since no one else seems to think so, I will carry on.
  19. Arrogant pricks are not welcome, unless they are already established members. I really wanted to call him an arrogant cunt but I do not want to infringe on any copyrights. FYFY. At least try to be interesting in your retorts.
  20. Perfect Manhhattan Straight up, ungarnished, unvarnished and untarnished.
  21. Please take your own advice and even if you do
  22. Just got back from our first soccer tournament. Easing into it as this one was only about an hour drive away.
  23. Nice Black Hawk Al. Some serious Bourbon being drunk tonight. So now my belated toast to Tyll on the soft launch of InnerFidelity. Best of luck to you. I cannot think of a better person to do this.
  24. I agree about the Bokers Marc, I usually err on the side of MOAR with Bitters anyway. Tonight A Staggering Old Fashioned 3 oz George T. Stagg Bourbon ¼ oz sugar syrup 3 dashes The Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas’ Own Decanter bitters 1 dash Fee Brothers Whiskey-Barrel Aged bitters 1 dash Angostura Orange bitters Add bitters and sugar syrup to an Old Fashioned glass and stir. Add the Bourbon and one giant ice cube, stir well for a minute or two. Twist a slice of orange zest on the drink and drop in to the glass. Well, that will certainly get your attention.
  25. I actually use the Digital output of the Touch into the XDA. To me the XDA outclasses the DAC in the Touch. At least in a headphone set-up.
