  1. Did a lot of honey-do-list things so rewarding myself with a vesper (standard recipe)
  2. Well not sure about Florida, but it is gin and tonic weather here.
  3. If you buy used there really is no price difference, as has been said numerous times. I also do not see how the 650s could clamp harder on the same size head as the 600s assuming the same starting conditions. Seems like a generalization using a sample size of one that has become the norm on of hustler-fi.
  4. Heh. Confession time. I actually own BOOH 1 and BOOH 2.
  5. Played with both for a while and settled on iPengHD on the ipad. No bugginess here, works at least as well as the squeezebox controller but with a better interface.
  6. An FBI Fizz ala Al Tasty. Here's to drinking with friends
  7. Naw the 650s are 8 1/3% MOAR better than the 600s.
  8. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU .... Now you tell me.
  9. HD650 > HD600 for me, all the time, every time. Don't think I paid $100 more than for an HD600.

    Deals

    ^^^ THIS ^^^
  11. 10 CDs from Amazon at 20% off.
  12. That's the beer that got me through my summer in Veracruz and Puebla with absolutely no GI problems. You are right, it's not beer, it's magic.
  13. 2 of these with dinner
  14. Isn't that a style of Kung Fu?
  15. I just received an email from drinkupny. They now have the Lemonhart 151 in stock! Also some interesting additions from The Bitter Truth.
  16. Installed a new kitchen faucet. Took 2 hours and 15 minutes, 2 hours to remove the old hardware without destroying the sink and 15 minutes to install the new faucet. Did I mention how much I hate anything remotely plumbing related.
  17. Happiest of Birthdays to you.
  18. Good luck on the house sale Ken.
  19. A very Happy Birthday to you good sir.
  20. Nice Al, an improved gin cocktail with genevieve and an aviation with Miller's Welbourne strength. How is the Miller's, I have not had the pleasure of tasting it? Sorry for the lack of cocktail time Shelly but I'm sure your hubby is appreciative, work on the other hand is probably oblivious. Had another Seelbach to finish off the Sophia Blanc de Blanc and now having a Derby 1 oz Bourbon 1/2 oz Carpano Antica 1/2 oz Clement Creole Shrub 3/4 oz Key Lime Juice Shake, double strain and garnish with a sprig of mint.
  21. Cuban was tasty but wanting some Bourbon I went with a Seelbach 1 oz Bourbon 1/2 oz Cointreau 7 dashes Angostura Bitters 7 dashes Peychaud's Bitters Champagne (Blanc de Blanc) Pour first four ingedients into a Champagne flute and stir. Top with Champagne and garnish with an orange twist.
  22. Cuban Cocktail #2 using Al's recipe above
  23. I'm sure that is part of it, but the rest is the usual response time measured in eons.
  24. I'm with you there. WTF is it with Universities? It takes an act of God to switch from heating to cooling and vice-versa.
