  1. Two Negra Modelos and Camarones a la Diablo for dinner.
  2. I will be supporting the inner fidelity meet.
  3. Hmm, that sounds interesting. The drink and location sounds nice Marc. We use the Sears Zone Omega Rx and saying it doesn't taste great is an understatement. But we take it with a little organic grape juice and it goes down fine. I believe they were the first ones to publish the actual test results for everything, including contaminants for each of their lots. Even with the smaller fish I would be concerned with chronic buildup but they seem to have really gotten out in front of this with the quality brands. I worry about the cheaper stuff myself since in most cases it is a big unknown. Nice! Me: In quick succession
  4. Happy Anniversary Bryan. Nice Mike.
  5. The other thing you should note is what the level of mercury is. If it hasn't been tested for mercury level, with actual test results for the batch, I would not be using it.
  6. Have fun tonight Al and Shelly and congrats on finishing up your trial Al. And this.
  7. He's cooking it over a match.
  8. ^^^ Yep, my point, although the vendors were a large part of the pain in my ass from CanJam '10.
  9. The focus of RMAF is very different compared to the original intent of CanJam, plus October sucks for travel for me.
  10. So does that mean my 60 day trial gets extended for no additional money? Oh BTW did I mention how much I love my 11' MBA?
  11. I cannot agree with this observation. For science I made a Plymouth aviation. Very tasty and smooth with the plymouth but I prefer it with the the North Shore #6.
  12. That sounds awesome Mike. I could use a Kasteel Rouge about now. Have to make due with a pair of Vespers (only one or me) with Blackwoods, Luksosowa and Cocchi Americano. I think this is now my favorite gin cocktail. Though I think I will give a Plymouth aviation a try later. For purely scientific purposes.
  13. Happy Birthday!
  14. Congrats on the marriage dbk. The sliders and beer look great Mike. FFF jealousy here.
  15. Nope, the second story juts out over the door, so no room. If Stretch were around to visit I wouldn't care if he looked in the window.
  16. Well the Willett is actually a little sweet for my tastes but it does have that nice rye bite and it was only $38 for the bottle, so I ain't complainin'. Back to basics tonight, a Sazerac in my new glasses.
  17. Yes they are. Unfortunately, the entrance door on our house dates to 1984. It was painted a hideous green so we spent the last two weeks working on it to increase it's air sealing and painting it. When we were through, we looked at it and decided all we had was a better sealed and freshly painted old, ugly door.
  18. That sounds great Ken. Congrats!
  19. That looks damn good. I need some low country boil.
  20. Well both of the RRs were sweeter than the one with Dubonnet Blanc. So less Martini-like. The Lillet Blanc was actually less sweet and had less bite. The Cocchi was sweeter but had a nicer bite. I preferred the Cocchi and Karen preferred the Lillet so that worked out. Her final appraisal was that the Veper is better. I concur. Decided to revisit a little Willett as an aperitif.
  21. Happy Trails marshall.
  22. Good stuff Jeff and Mike. Me: (without the window above the door)
  23. Wow the Willett was surprisingly tasty. Of course I was three sheets to the wind by that time. Must sample again with greater sobriety. Now a pair of Rosalind Russells, one with Cocchi Americano and one with Lillet Blanc. News at 11.
  24. A wee dram of rye as a nightcap.
