  1. Glad your back home Al. Tried a Paris Manhattan 2 Parts High West Bourye 1 Part St. Germain Elderflower liqueur 1/2 Part Dolin dry vermouth 2 dashes Fee Brothers Cherry bitters Stir and striain. Garnish with one (or two) of your favorite cherries. A bit on the sweet side I will make another and adjust the proportions, for science.
  2. Nice. I just finished placing a small order with them.
  3. I'm OK with that.
  4. Alpha King pale ale
  5. Nice cocktail books Shelly. Ordered a little over 13 sq. ft. of granite.
  6. Three words, " undercounter beverage center".
  7. Tuesday or Wednesday works for me. After 8:30 pm central time is better but I can do earlier if necessary.
  8. I cannot accept any packages that large. Words of wisdom.
  9. Damn! That's a lot of approval. If I did that well at work I'd be running this place. ... No wait. That's a bad thing.
  10. Norton Reserva Malbec with dinner. Now a Gumballhead.
  11. ^^^ Excellent news Peter!
  12. Hopefully the name does not reflect the source of the water Yep. That is what convinced me I really like Blackwoods. Hard to hide a crappy gin in a Martini. Excellent! I love your secret ingredients. Well the Matin with 3:1 gin:vodka is better. The Campari is less prominent and it has a nicer finish. Looks the same but tastes better.
  13. I am going to try it with the traditional Vesper proportions of 3:1 gin:vodka instead of the reversed proportions. Should be even more Negroni like. That being said I do like vodka, kind of part of the heritage and all. Nice!
  14. Yes, yes it is. Very negroni-ish as you would expect but less sweet and with a higher alcohol content. What's not to like?
  15. A Vesper variation called a Matin 3 oz vodka 1 oz gin 1/2 oz Campari Stir, strain and garnish with a lemon peel.
  16. Damn, that does sound good Todd.
  17. Excellent post Wayne. I was thinking the same thing but was too exhausted to post.
  18. Glad your dad is better Al and he everything works out well for your dad Scott.
  19. That sounds like a tasty Bonal and Rye Shelly. The Tonga Room drink menu looks like it should keep you entertained for a while Marc. Cheers Al! Edit: Finished off the Gale Force (Thanks again Marc and Todd) and the North Shore 11 today.
  20. Here's to hoping all works out well with your mom Dusty.
  21. Early Vespers.
  22. Laying in some supplies for the start of the semester in a little over a week. 1x High West BouRye 1x Junipero Gin 1x St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur 6 pack FFF Alpha King 6 pack FFF Gumballhead 2x FFF Dreadnaught 1x FFF Blackheart (Because they only had 1 left)
  23. Sake at Sushi Umi.
  24. Yesterday I did take Shelly's advice and used more rye in the Second Peralta, I also switched to the Willet which is higher proof and swapped the proportions of grapefruit and lemon juice. Much better balance, less sweet, moar bite. Now a bloody brilliant Bonal and Rye
