Dolin Dry Vermouth 11 drops Bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters 7 drops Bittercube Blackstrap Bitters Stir the ingredients and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with Lemon Peel and Cherries
  2. A couple of packages from Cocktail Kingdom and Bittercubes Bitters.
  3. Yes.
  4. I may be a little late on Wednesday as that is only 7:30 CST but no biggy.
  5. When Mike dances it rains, or else ... he dances again
  6. Nice come-back
  7. Adult-sized portion.
  8. I still use the original theme most of the time.
  9. Have a great birthday Matt. Drink lots of beer and change the world.
  10. Absinthe dasher, even nicer, and the opaline is a beautiful color. The gypsy is good and the sweetness works since the alcohol content is still high.
  11. I love the bitters bottle and ice pick. Nice!
  12. Nice Fogcutter Marc and the glass is perfect. The Gypsy 1½ PARTS North Shore #6 Gin ¾ PART St-Germain ½ PART Green Chartreuse ½ PART Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a thinly sliced lime wheel.
  13. Happy Birthday Laine.
  14. Excellent! They looked like an interesting selection plus they are actually semi-local being in Milwaukee. I went with a heavy pour on the rye and scant pours of Benedictine and Cherry Heering and it tasted good. I did notice the lemon after I had almost finished it but couldn't see it was wrapped around a cherry. It was definitely worth trying again so will use the garnish next time and probably a little bitters experimentation as well.
  15. Haven't tried them but just ordered the sampler. Thanks Sounds good. Just made up the proportions and guessed on the glassware. 2 oz Willett rye 1/2 oz Benedictine 1/2 oz Cherry Heering 1 dash Angostura and 1 dash Fee's orange bitters Absinthe rinse Well we returned home from the gymnastics/tumbling awards banquet and I sucked down a Leffe while catching up on the drinking. Decided the Kentucky Porch Wash looked good but did not have any Benedictine so had to make a quick run. As you can see above, I'm back.
  16. Happiest of Birthdays squire.
  17. You do know that diet soda causes brain tumors right?
  18. Oh, #8, perfect.
  19. Happiest of Birthdays, Ian
  20. You can save settings to the presets on the front of the unit which can make things a bit quicker. What is flaky with the SPDIF input?
  21. Nice! Duly noted.
  22. Congrats on the house financing Chris. Banks suck. Awesome Shelly, the story not the drought. Climate change also sucks. Sending good thoughts of biscuits your way Brent. Back problems suck. Not sure about the dance but Gumballhead and Bulleit bourbon do not suck.
  23. I think Shelly has the right answer. It doesn't seem like it will sub well for an orange liqueur. It is also very sweet. Those are awesome Juleps Al, the frosting is great and the carving is awesome. Sophie FTW. I made another Paris Manhattan but swapped the proportions of dry vermouth and St. Germain. Better but I still prefer a regular Manhattan.
  24. Something derbyish?
