Well, since the last Averna cocktail was pretty fluffy I decided to try Al's Mountain Man modification 2 oz Bulleit Bourbon, 1/2 oz Bonal, 1/2 oz Averna, 2 dashes Bittercube Orange Bitters and a flamed Orange peel as garnish because I still wanted to play with fire. Ahhhh, much better.

Drove up to Chicago. Picked up some granite. Met Chris(Pars) and had a nice lunch and some excellent conversation. Also picked up his Pedja Rogic DAC for an inhome listen (thanks again Chris). Did a bit of shopping to restock the liquor cabinet at Binnys. Then drove back to Charleston. Now chilling.
