Well this is a little later than usual (the race is in two weeks from Sunday) as Karen was not even going to run the Chicago marathon due to a foot injury in the late spring. However, the rehabilitation went really well and she has been able to get her distance back up remarkably quickly. My problems with the 007 is mainly in comparison to the Omega and has to do with a more compressed soundstage and a tad bit of slowness that mushes up the clarity when the music gets complex. I do not listen at Ray Smuel levels either.

Well somebody has to say it so I will. Even as a comparative statement I find this statement strange. Though I do have some problems with the 007 MK I, those particular attributes would never enter the description.

Been missing my gin so went with the Satan's Whiskers (marcelled) 1 1/2 ounces gin 3/4 ounce sweet vermouth 1 1/4 ounces fresh orange juice 1 teaspoon falernum syrup 2 dashes Fee Brothers Old-Fashioned bitters Place all ingredients in a mixing glass. Add ice, shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Wow, the family resemblance is extremely small.
