  1. Horrendously worse.
  2. I'll go with the unaged, clear and utterly undrinkable Wasmund's rye spirit. The only good use.
  3. Yes he would.
  4. Happy Birthday!
  5. Happy Birthday!
  6. Well my experience with Yama's is nonexistent. I tried contacting them three different times for three different issues by email with absolutely no response. None of them were earth shatteringly important so I did not try any other means of contact. This was I believe between about 2006 and 2008.

It doesn't matter as everything eventually ends up sounding like the HE-60
  8. ^^^ My thoughts exactly.
  9. Yep, no moss growing under this boy. Actually arrived yesterday but I was just informed today. Thank you. P.S. The first of your packages goes out tomorrow.
  10. If you are feeling a bit wobbly you could get a sword cane or just do what I do; have a nice cocktail. Always straightens things right up.
  11. ^^This also^^
  12. Holy shit, the liquid fire (which sounds like something that happens after a meal at a bad Mexican restaurant) is $3250 plus shipping. That is more than I paid for my BA. But then again Craig doesn't consider himself a thought leader so I guess you are paying extra for that. Edit: I see Dan had the same thought re. the amp name
  13. At the time Logitech had no expertise in making anything of quality other than remotes. IMO the squeezebox touch would still be on the drawing board, if even there, without Logitech's capital. They were successful by keeping the squeezebox division seperate. I see no reason to panic at this time. Edifier, while lacking "audiophile prestige", does appear, from my meager information, to have a fair amount of business acumen. I just do not see them doing much more initially than dumping some much needed capital into Stax. Maybe enough to release some nice new amps. Of course, I could be wrong. It has happened once or twice before.
  14. I put this in the same category as "Oh noes, logitech is going to kill the squeezebox!".
  15. As Ric said it is pretty much the same as the five. So you could use the wireless adapter or the 3.5 audio out from the airport express directly to the 3.5 input on the A5+. I would probably do the latter.
  16. Audioengine 5+ http://audioengineusa.com/Store/Audioengine-5-Plus#overview
  17. Bastard! That is from my wallet
  18. A nice standard double old-fashioned to join Mike and Al. Will be nice to have you back mixing again Shelly.
  19. Perfect time. That is old enough to be retro.
  20. Oh, so "thought leader" is a synonym for douchebag.
  21. My Marantz AV-7005 I went from a huge rats nest of cables on the old pre/pro to 3 HDMI in, 1 out, a pair of stereo in from TT, coax in from squeezebox (though that may be on the way out as it is AirPlay enabled), 1 network io and 6 preamp out. Since it has a built-in phono stage and tuner I got rid of my outboard tuner and phono stage. Basically everything is simpler. Having it network connected is awesome as it has a built in web interface which works excellently with the iPad and makes switching sources and setup, quick, easy and painless. Plus it doesn't sound half bad. Highly recommended.
  22. The PCBs arrived today. They are so damn cute.
