  1. Powerpoint and the snipping tool, assuming you are using Windows 7. I'm sure there is a similar app for Mac.
  2. That being said I think with 89dB sensitivity you might want something with a little more power than a tripath.
  3. I'm very impressed how both those amps sound with my ANs. For the price you can almost just throw them out if you don't like them.
  4. Thank you all. Had a pretty slow day since I was still recovering from going to bed in the early AM. The fridge doesn't look as full anymore
  5. Because people that buy $75k speakers are worried about $500 shipping.
  6. I also used those for a Bourbon Stout. I leaned two things. 1)Oak sinks 2)It needs to age a year if the oak was in it for a year
  7. Congrats!
  8. Happy birthday Dan!!!
  9. ^ don't forget to rewire them with Jenna cable, Chris....
  10. Hey, keep my company out of this!
  11. Any leads on a source for the modules?
  12. Need moar blackgates. I'm actually blown away by how good these cheap Tripath amps sound. Matched with a efficient speaker it's amazing what you can get for $20. I now understand why people like their RWA amps and also what a ripoff they are.
  13. Happy birthday big C!
  14. You can't really measure it after the DRC since it is a filter. Well I guess I could make a sweep .wav and measure that. The filter I was able to create sounded like I was in a cave. Not good at all. The corrected .wav I made with Audiolense was much better but still not prefect. I think the crappy Firewire card is keeping it back. Should have a new one tomorrow.
  15. I have some real interest, but I lack knowledge on the production side. I also know that drumming up enough interest and cash might make it difficult, but if possible might make something great.
  16. After having mediocre success I came to the conclusion that A) I need a better Firewire card B ). will probably have to suck it up and purchase Audiolense. The licensing seems to be a bit crappy which makes it a hard pill to swallow, but if it works I think it will be worth it.
  17. Happy birthday Tex!
  18. Some gay guy suggested it. Thanks gay guy
  19. I'm using what ever is in the Profire 610
  20. I'll give that a look. My math isn't so great, calculating the area under a curve is about as far as it goes.
  21. This is just a long shot idea that would take some serious work(sheep herding), planning, and cash, but I figure I would present it any way. We should make a Head-Case wine. I'm sure the serious wine-o's here know about www.crushpadwine.com but for those that don't, check out the website. We could have a mini meet around the production of the wine and possibly another around the bottling. It also helps that we have a somewhat large group of members in that area. Of course it would take a serious cash outlay for those involved for a wine of unknown quality but I still think it might be worth looking into. Discuss.
  22. Yeah everything looked correct, but it was my first time doing the measurements and doing the correction filter file. Maybe I got something backwards, which would explain the sound it gives. Or maybe I just need to suck it up and get better software for the correction.
  23. I have a ECM8000, but without the calibration file. I might sent it to them to get the calibration done, or just purchase a calibrated one. I did the measurements with the Inguz sweep recorded through a Profire 610 using Audacity. Mic was placed to ear level.
  24. Posted a question in there and it turns out my Inguz is working. It sounds horrible with the correction files I made but it does work. Now I just need to work on making a good correction filter.
  25. I definitely could try that and run it through Foobar.
