Probably going to cut my teeth on one of these designs. http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/Diy_Loudspeaker_Projects.htm

I know, it’s on the list, I just know I’m going to want to go crazy and build something nice. Jodi was sick of hearing about my Roubo after the first week. Can’t imagine how she will react when I build some speakers she can’t even hear 😂

Pretty simple, female is V carved .11 with a 60deg bit, male is cut at .02 with a start depth of .09 with the same bit. Male is a mirror of the female. Then glued up and clamped. Once dry the male portion is cut of on the bandsaw (could also surface it off on the CNC but bandsaw is way quicker). Then sand.

That resaw looks awesome. Finally got some time to work on the bench today. Knocked out building the deadman with a walnut inlay to carry on the theme. Also cut and glued down the deadman rail. So close, just need to build the center divider. Then clean up and finish.

Is it haiku Tuesdays?

OMG that is a terrible run of misfortune. Fortunately you made it out mostly unscathed. On a positive note you are all set for beatnik poetry night. Just need to find your beret. I’ve read multiple times about the Incra cause of Saw Stops to trigger. Clamp rack looks great!

I would have voodoo dolls made in my likeness.
-
Totally messed it up being a Fusion360 noob but I present Chop V 0.5. I’ll redo it in the near future, also not super happy with the aesthetics.
-
I have to keep it simple, adding steps will just complicate things without really adding any real benefits. For the most part they are not tech savvy.
-
Our use case doesn’t make sense. 20 vet techs and receptionists bouncing around from computer to computer all in a hurry. They don’t use anything but the practice management software (where they do all have a unique login) and maybe Chrome.
-
I would have a riot if it was any other way.
-
25ish. Nobody will have a login, just one per computer.
-
From my research it seems to have the same 25 connection limit that Windows 10 has.
-
Thanks, that’s makes sense. Active server will just be on one machine. With the VMs I can do replication. Server fails, the replication server will pick up its IP address and become the active server. Automatic with very little down time and very little if any loss of data. Plus it makes them easy to move since they are hardware agnostic for the most part.
-
Our practice management software also has to run on the server. So it has to be Windows.

We are hitting the 25 connection limit of Windows 10, so the only fix is moving to Server. Many questions but the main things I’m trying to figure out is licensing and what I’m going to have to set up. We have 25 computers that all use the same log-in. Nobody needs a user account so the plan is to just have each computer with its own login. So trying to determine if I need device CALs in this case or still user CALs? Plan on running it in a VM on Hyper-V. Do I have to license a replica as well? For setup I assume I’ll need to set up Active Directory and a Print Sever. Then Group Policies for each computer so they have the correct share and printer access. I’m assuming that this isn’t to difficult but I’ve been wrong before. Anything else I might be missing?

Any Windows Servers experts in here? I need to migrate from Windows 10 to Server and have questions.

Built the lower deck and made the chop. Still need to cut it down and make it presentable but I wanted to make sure the glide fit and worked well. It sure does. IMG_5519.MOV

I could see that if someone was working on a little here and there. The Felder really earned it's keep, I spent just about two days straight jointing and plane 300bf of rough maple. Being able to quickly make accurate adjustments was really nice. Just a garage. HOA won't let me build one.

No, I’m lazy, just mortise and tenon. I have modern lag bolts.
-
I’ve been plugging away at it for a couple weeks, it’s deceptively a whole lot of more work than it looks. So far I’ve collected seven 55 gallon bags of wood chips making it. So far I’m happy with how it’s turning out even though I’ve made a couple mistakes here and there.
-
Finally at the point I can use the Roubo bench I’m making as a bench. Need to tweak the fit of the top a little and finishing building the vice leg and deadman.

Looks like oak. I would save it for something nicer than painted doors. Place it will take some work filling the grain. Get some paint grade maple or poplar?
-
It's magical, so of course it can.

Looking back I can see it as well now.
