  3. yah, you're way more likely to have clean dishes if you can't overfill. I love love love my bosch dishwasher. Stainless tub, adjustable top shelf height, super quiet, and actually cleans the dishes. It's 7 years old and going strong (unlike my kenmore elite french door fridge)
  4. How much was the mid pilot? County comm has the red pilot for $299 in mid and large sizes, as well as several other models. I'm regularly tempted. http;//www.countycomm.com
  5. So, if you can fit it, I strongly recommend a separate fridge and freezer. French door fridges are convenient, but mine has been a fragile piece of shit. I've replaced most of the shelves, and the freezer support framework is now broken, and will have to be replaced. This is a 7 year old $2500 kenmore elite. I REALLY liked our cooktop with a range hood on an island, with a double oven. That said, we only used the double part of the oven on holidays. My biggest suggestion is make sure your "work triangles" work. Anything else is easy enough to deal with, but if you're going to be working in the kitchen, make it as functional as you can. Also, Bosch dishwasher.
  6. good to see you're still alive, fritzy
  7. Cream was the only thing Eric Clapton was involved with that I ever cared about. That suggests that the key part was Jack Bruce. He gave a gift to the world with his music, and he'll be missed. Prosit!
  8. I love hockey, and I'd play fantasy hockey if it made the league possible, but I'm not generally a fantasy sports guy
  9. If your wrists hurt, my understanding is it's generally a problem with your posture while riding. Try rolling your hips forward and keeping your back straighter.
  10. Given that it was probably a memory constraint with the air, it hardly seems to matter. But I'm sure crappy's probably right.

  12. Photoshop would work just fine on that system as well.
  13. from the footage I saw, they have no shortage of those guys already.
  14. Are your current bars too wide? If so then it could be a beneficial change.

  17. a very good friend of mine is Bermudan. she's been more concerned about this one than I can remember ever happening before. she's been offline for a day.

  19. either the mac thinks your primary volume is a sparse logical volume, you are trying to install over your install media, or something else weird is going on. I'd suggest creating a usb install drive and booting from that to do your upgrade and check things out. Disk utility should tell you what's wrong. You've done something to anger Steve Jobs, because I've done some weird shit to my computers over the years and have never had the issues you do.
  20. you made your primary volume a sparse volume? wtf?
  21. not so much premature as irrelevant since they weren't going to be buying anyway
  22. I can't imagine putting packing tape on a watch to protect it. Seriously, buy a knock off to wear if you're that afraid you might scuff it.
