  1. Ok, on some hypothetical commune forum, jude doesn't have ownership. On headfi, he does. C'est la vie. Now we have a place where we exchange the danger of accidentally seeing pics of chekhonte for a higher signal to noise ratio. And jude gets to make a profit after helping grow the hobby to the point where there are a lot more options. Everybody wins. Except newbies, and who cares about newbies?
  2. Reksy beat me to the punch
  3. I wish that'd been true when I lived in kirkland, wa. That stupid grass grew faster than anywhere I'd ever lived. Felt like I had to mow constantly. Of course, I had a dull manual mower.
  4. If I put my life at risk by not pulling out the push mower for the steep parts, I can finish mine in about 3 hrs. I really need a ZTR.
  5. Earl, you mowed your kid and your dogs?
  6. 1/4 lb deli ham 4 slices of swiss cheese "wasabi" inglehoffer horseradish (does have a little real wasabi in it)
  7. chicken tenders baked with salt, pepper, and paprika green beans cous cous w/ celery seed
  8. It would be a shame to have a top notch dac that you can't use with a good amp when possible. I mean, you do amazing things with the tiny amp section in that amp, but if given a choice, I'd still rather use a better amp when given a chance.
  9. 2 would be my choice. Or have a jumper internally for that
  10. I'm just back from order of the phoenix. Better than the book, and best of the movies to date
  11. Maybe...luckily the forklift couldn't
  12. Yah toslink isn't well suited to high traffic areas, or for plugging/replugging often, etc. You should see the industrial strength fiber cables we ran at one site...they were 1" thick, almost entirely rubber.
  13. I just looked up the specs. USB 2.0 specifies cables not longer than 5m, and toslink is 15m until you need a repeater.
  14. Use glass cable, and you can go as long as you'd like. Admittedly, it's for storage and not music, but since that's MORE prone to error, and goes WAY faster, it's a reasonable test, and I've got 90m cables. Fiber is WAY more resistant to degradation than usb/copper.
  15. Oh, you don't impact THAT
  16. Yup, heathen.
  17. 23, still in college, lives in mom's house, big boned. Yup, you're dead sexy.
  18. You still live in your mom's house, right? [me=grawk]rests his case.[/me]
  19. That's what makes you a heathen.
