some people think an awful lot about gambling. The problem with individual stocks is it's almost impossible as an individual investor to have all the information, the game is pretty rigged.

I sometimes buy individual stocks. I know going in it's straight up gambling, and it's money I can afford to lose 100% of.

I'm actually interested in a setup using a temperature controller, an immersion heater, and an aquarium pump to do a larger setup than I'm currently using.

I think the challenge of just using a temperature controller without some sort of circulator is you lose some of the temperature consistency across the entire water bath.
