Here's to remembering that at the end of the day, it's still all about the music! Merry Christmas!
  3. My amp took very close to 2 years...and it's not even a singlepower. Then again, my amp from singlepower would have cost double.

Looks out of stock everywhere. I did find this one for dusty: Amazon.com: Invicta Men's II Collection Square Skull Black Technofiber Watch #4590: Jewelry And if I weren't broke, i'd be all over this:
  5. Yup, it's early, and I missed the part about it being the first of several purchases.
  6. If you could stretch your budget to $500, headamp's pico is a great little piece, dac and amp. Otherwise, I really like the way my m3 sounds with my 225s, and you should be able to find an m3 for $250ish, and then have $150ish to spend on a decent external soundcard.
  7. If you don't trust what he says, why would you trust what he sells? At some point, don't you choose to do business with people you respect instead of people you don't?

There are lots of reasons to prefer a preamp, don't let dusty talk you out of it... Your budget should be $50 speakers, $50 source, $2900 preamp.

There aren't really a shortage of dacs with variable out. Benchmark, Apogee, Lavry, pico, and if you have a mac, apogee duet.

Raves were all about the candy flip. I had a roommate in austin who made the mistake of going to a rave on 2 hits of acid I'd given him, when I'd suggested he start with 1/4 hit. He called me 4 hrs later in a panic... I miss those doses, easily the best I've ever seen, and that says something
