I'm not in the rarified source world that a lot of you are, but I've been looking for a decent sub $500 universal player. I'd been leaning towards the oppo, but found that Cambridge makes a universal that is pretty well regarded that has an audio-only setting. Anyone know anything about it? The few reviews I've' found make it seem decent.

I just merged the two.

I like rs1s better than my woodied hf1s for female jazz vocalists. For everything else, I prefer the HF1s. Lots of people feel differently.

Some people like rs1s and rs2s more than hf1s. You should try them before you buy them.
