You should try a canal lube, that will help the affected orifices stretch to accommodate the unanticipated girth. Or you can invest in a Tice Orifice Stretcher[tm], which should make other smaller devices fit more easily afterward.

Can it do servicable sous vide for 1? I'm probably going to be getting an apartment in oak ridge, tn soon, and don't want to take the anova from home to do it, so being able to just get an instant pot to cover multiple bases would be hugely useful.

I like both the kuat and the 1up. For an SUV, I'd go kuat all the way. On a passenger car, I'd go 1up. The lock on the kuat is basically useless, but it stops honest people. With the 1up, I use a cable lock with a beefy padlock, that I keep in the trunk. The sherpa is a steal, comparatively speaking.

I personally wouldn't worry about either thing, although I freely admit to not worrying about things generally. If you regularly need to do a hard reset on your watch, I'd discuss it with apple. I wouldn't worry about twist ties at all, but if I were worried about them, I'd remove them, and then stop worrying.

I think the way the magnetic charger works, you're going to get a little bit of heat generated. I wouldn't worry about it.
