  1. cool a new word!
  2. I wasn't suggesting it was just friends. Just that groups of friends are part of the real world.
  3. You must have missed the news recently.
  4. in what way?
  5. We're not everyone in the world. We're a group of friends. That is how society works. If there's nothing tying a group of people together in the real world, they're not a group of people in the real world.
  6. I'd argue that head-case IS a better reflection of real society than other web forums. We expect people to behave as if they were actually around the people they're talking to. And hold them to what they say.
  7. Yah, this probably isn't the place to whine that people don't listen. Except when it comes to welcome messages.
  8. It just goes to show, no matter how long people are around here, not everyone appreciates the "it's a bar where people who like headphones hang out" thing. That said, sometimes people ramble on about something they really care about and no one else does in bars, too.
  9. I certainly didn't think the original Rx sounded like shit.
  10. The spoils of having killed so many people earlier in life.
  11. it's not that long a drive, or take the amtrak
  12. I made it to like 3 minutes before the end of the game. I heard the winner on the radio, instead of watching it on tv. I wish it had ended differently, but holy hell what a great game.
  13. who?
  14. nice looking ribs
  15. That seems to be a valid way to compare the aac file to the cd rip to take any active process conversion out of the picture. That said, I didn't, and won't, read the article...
  16. More Delwood's bbq
  17. I do, thanks, I'll pm you with my address
  18. The bedford/stuyvesant neighborhood in brooklyn is a great place to take pictures. Be sure to surprise the locals as they operate their open air market on the street corners, and perhaps partake of the local color.
  19. If she doesn't take you up on that Tyll, I will
  20. Hunger Games - Songs from District 12 and Beyond. This is an amazing album. Ignore the movie tie in. It's T Bone Burnett with another soundtrack up there with O Brother Bonnie Raitt - Slipstream Bonnie Raitt is as good as she's ever been with this.

My dad got me one of those too. I did a fair bit with it, but I had to rewrite the programs every time I ran them, because I didn't have a tape recorder.
