My take is ssds are faster, quieter, more efficient, and more reliable. I won't be buying computers with without an ssd as a boot/os drive anymore.

When you consume conspicuously, you open yourself up to such speculation. If you want to play poor, you shouldn't drive expensive to buy, expensive to maintain automobiles, and brag about them on the internet.
