I trudged down my hill through about a foot of snow, then minimally brushed snow off the honda pilot to drive into work today. As usual, once I got out of my driveway, everything was fine. Saw a hummer h2 that had powered straight when his cloverleaf exit didn't, and another car that had turned up on it's side. My coworker saw both those events, and neither was triggered by anything other than driver idiocy.

I'll definitely defer to cj too, if you're shipping. He asked first, after all.

my estimate is we got between 12 and 18" depending on where on the hill you check, with drifts up to 36". And it's heavy dense snow. Shovelling the driveway takes 3 shovels full for every blade width of clearance.

My need is probably the lowest, especially given our intended use. But I also generally am looking for a good excuse to head down to dc...

I generally don't mind shoveling. This isn't my favorite tho. We're 1/4 done or so. I keep hoping for industrious youth in a pickup to come offer to do it, but our road still hasn't been plowed.
