  1. not funny
  2. Thanks Birgir. I just got an email back from Yama's because I was inquiring about a replacement headband. They said they could get a Lambda Pro one for $95. Does that seem reasonable? Also, I am very interested in what you find out about the ES-1. My suspicion about the glare in my system is that Mikhail has done something wonky, like providing too much voltage to the output tubes. Maybe you can tell me what I could change (resistors??) to do a simple modification? I know Kevin has said it needs major changes but I would like to change something simple first. I seem to remember Mikhail saying he would change some resistors to solve my issues??
  3. You are correct sir!
  4. Hey Steve, I call first dibs on the SR-Omega when you want to sell them!
  5. Should I send them an updated S/N w/o the extra zero?
  6. I got an email from Sennheiser too but it does not say my S/N is wrong, just to check the info. I added an extra zero in front and I'm just gonna leave it like that I think?
  7. Nice find, I have 9 more SACDs now. Thanks.
  8. Welcome!
  9. Yeah, nice to meet you at CanJam shelly!
  10. Wayne, nice to meet you at CanJam! (Andy). I'll sell you my ShinglePower ES-2 for $40K. I think that is the going Mikhail rate. Then we can talk about the rest.
  11. You have to register at Senn, and put in your S/N, problem is it is 6 digits required on the form and only 5 digits on the phones. I put a leading 0. Someone said there is a 6 digit number on the box. I do not think anyone has confirmed registration though and no individual graphs. Looks like Senn is not ready yet on this front. I registered last Fri. and no response.
  12. This is the same for me on my pair, seems normal?
  13. kelvinz, mine do not creak like that.
  14. Good point!

  20. You are so polite, not sure how you do it.
  21. tell me that is not true
  22. I listened briefly and it was indeed nice. My audio vocabulary is limited so bear with me. It did not strike me as slow or soft as I have read about some Woo amps; my SR-Omega sounded good on it. It had all new production tubes, Tung-Sol 6SN7 and Shuguang (sp.) 6CA7, the newer special model. I definitely think it is head and shoulders above the A10 but that probably does not surprise many. The A10 has the Ray Samuels sound which may appeal to some but is not my cup of tea. I prefer my ES-2 to both amps but i am biased and out a shitload of money there, so go figure. I think the Woo will be a great addition to the electrostat market. The BHSE sounds great also. We hooked up an ES-2 and the BHSE to the same source and I must say that I was surprised the ES-2 held it's own with the O2, several others felt the same but I will let them speak for themselves. But for the money the BHSE is a clear winner.
