Don't really care about the 300SEI -- a good amp will do, and we both have good amps. We're comparing headphones, not trying to recreate what you observed.

I give up. I'm not going to defend a company based on you-all's impressions on one product, but they do some cutting edge stuff with, for example, their digital active speakers, and MLP Lossless compression (which, if I understand correctly, they developed). The comparison to RSA is not apt.

No, I'm saying you are incorrect in thinking that the R10 can have a fat bottom end, in any reality, distorted or otherwise. And to even compare the lack of bottom end to a K501 is just...incorrect, ludicrous, etc.

I'm serious -- I've heard it sound thin (and, admittedly, detailed) -- sort of like the source equivalent of the K1000, but never syrupy.

What? To go from AT&T to...AT&T? I don't think so. EDIT: Here is a breakdown -- it is my understanding that you will need to buy the phone again, and upgrade to a new plan (I.E. start another 2 year contract), but that's it.

Why, what's inside them? I didn't find their sound syrupy at all. My biggest complaint about the G08 is that it took some serious matching -- more so than other systems I've heard. Is that because the analogue section is 'weak'?

Opinions on these? Any of them more highly recommended than others? Any of them disrecommended?
