Are you guys in Gaithersburg all going to ride down together and back up? If no-one is going to need a ride from me, then I'll take the metro/walk to get there. I'll assume that's the case, but invitation remains extended for me to drive anyone back that needs it -- you just have to let me know before I leave (the Brickskeller, that is). If you're all going to drink, then I could probably figure out a way to get my car over to Brickskeller later to drive 3 or 4 of you home (3 comfortably, 4 less so, but manageable). I don't intend to drink this evening. If it's not too inconvenient, I wouldn't mind my shirts, so that I can wash the sizing out of them this evening and wear one of them tomorrow. Please, but not a big deal if you don't feel like dealing with it tonight.

I have zero experience with either, but from what I've read, this is one of those "you can't go wrong" choices -- they both will probably sound very good. (I tend to like Hi-Fi Choice's reviews.) I have to admit, the Shures that I used to use sounded distinctly better with an outboard amp, but I have since switched to not commuting...I mean, to Etymotic ER-6i's, which sound quite good without additional amplification.
