They're probably burning in. Or maybe your listening "center of balance" is drifting into alignment. Try turning them around and see if the center goes the other way.
I have been buying a lot of imports lately. After you find the item on another site, look for it again on the domestic site -- there are lots of places like Caiman and importcd's that sell the disk through the amazon shops, albeit still new. And I've had nothing but the best of luck with them.
Was it not a public domain design? Practically all circuits already exist at this point, the trick with any amp manufacturer is to put your own flavor on it (without violating intellectual property rights, of course). Which is what I thought everyone -- including Mikhail -- does.
I think it looks hot, in a spectacular sci-fi chick wearing a foil cape as an extra on Dr. Who kind of way. I haven't heard any reviews that said sound alone makes it worth the price without modding and/or tuberolling.
But I still intend to get one when I win the lottery -- I think it will go with my O'Heocha D2 speakers.
