  1. Hooray! NC-15? Patty Duke? NP: "Sporting a woody" by Dangerous Toys Yeah, I'm into hermaphrodites, too. NP: "Fountain of Salmacis" by Genesis And now it's being sold with the Rubik's Cube: Amazon.com: 3M Performance Plus 8979N Nuclear Grade 48-Millimeter-by-54.8-Meter Duct Tape, Slate Blue: Home Improvement
  2. Depeche Mode? Oh, Death Magnetic...I'll give it a listen. I said "maybe" on Load, mostly because I really don't remember it. I do still have it, so if I stumble across it while going through my CD's, I'll give it a listen. I didn't mind the transition from AJFA -> the black album so much -- I mean, at least it had some great hooks -- as the transition from the black album -> Load -> Reload. Load and Reload lost all sense of "the hook", IIRC.
  3. St. Anger is better than Reload...and probably Load, too.
  4. Here's one just for you Billy:
  5. fish & chips pups from Long John Silver's
  6. Updated my resume'. Welcome to the world of "I forget to set a deadline".
  7. Thanks for the info. No, not really, I was just kidding around.
  8. Wide (I.E. look at the upper and lower drop-off frequencies)? Flat? Perhaps a little bump in the presence region? Perhaps a little bump in the 5kHz region (is that "air")? Perhaps a little valley in the sibilance region? There was an article I read once that gave real-world examples of what all frequency regions "mapped" to, wish I could find it again.
  9. You're right, upon re-inspection, there is no flaking. -10 observant points for me.
  10. Oh, is there one in each cup? Missed that. I agree with your conclusion.
  11. I'm betting it's the same as the AKG mini-XLR connector, although I'm not seeing the classic round button.
  12. So the flaking is -- burned skin? Wow, you're a braver man than I. I usually just let my natural hair color grow out before I go lighter, and then I don't go much lighter (I'm usually going darker than my natural hair color).
  13. I mean that not only will the reviews be positive, but that the reviewers will be figuratively creaming themselves. And no, I hate bukkake scenes, but one can't be it's hard to be on the internet, male, and not know what it is. If only so one knows what to avoid.
  14. That's awesome, considering...well, not what it originally said, but what it was based on (the Fawlty Towers "Germans" episode). What did the Newman (?) one say, originally?
  15. Yes, please. And what's the black paint for? I should get some ultra-fine sandpaper, too -- don't want it to look too new. I should misspell something. Gado. HP-2001. Something. EDIT: Nevermind, don't need the black paint, none of that came off, only the outer circle lettering. PS What does it say, specifically? Grado something Precision something HP-1000?
  16. I have high hopes for their sound. And I don't think they're fugly. Just...not black enough.
  17. Thanks for taking one for the team!
  18. It'll be a review-bukkake-bonanza.
  19. Ask him about the lettering. Kidding.
  20. They should just lock that entire thread into memory so that it doesn't get swapped out.
  21. Small can of red paint and a fine paintbrush. J/K...
  22. HD 680, since the link to that page reroutes you to the HD 800. That's my theory. And I agree with the staggered release, that just makes marketing/hype sense.
  23. I'll wait for the robot-made trickle-down technology, thanks. Make it black this time, bitches. Metal skeleton encased in carbon fiber, perhaps.
  24. But that was the stated reason for not shipping without payment, "past problems". It'll satisfy Mikhail's "accounts" person, if it comes to that.
  25. L.S.G., the unreleased album -- right up there with In To Deep, groovy.
