JPNumbs -- I think I got you beat, I drove 14 hours/day over two days for a pair of speakers once.
Of course, your speakers are nicer, I think. I never listen to mine (they're too big).
Yes, but I think they come with the option to downgrade automatically, if you look for the right combination.
That said, you could get it to work, shouldn't be that much of a problem. My understanding of Skype is that it's pretty well supported.
I compared a β22 with my Singlepower Supra++. The β22 was deliciously transparent, but I still prefer tubes. It's probably just psychological. You know, "ooh, orange glow == fire == good to caveman".
No, but we could have an "edumacate Duggeh on all things prog" thread for a while, if you'd like. If we tried to have a full time prog thread, I think I'd just end up lurking in it, unfortunately. I really listen to most of my prog in the car.
Well, as I said before, you could thicken the pins with conductive paint, or you could try bending them so they make contact at at least one point, but those are both kludges, and do not in any way preclude what else has been said.
Ah! No! You should have gotten Complete, it has everything.
EDIT: That's everything that was available at the time, I think something has come out since then that may not be on there.
Find your hard drive. Right Click->Get Info. If you're getting towards the last x% of available disk space, look up "mac slow indexing", as it's probably stuck in an indexing loop. Clear off some of the disk space, then follow the instructions to reset the indexes.
That's just my guess. Maybe little monkey was downloading porn?
Why are your speakers perpendicular to your TV viewing area? I have a friend who has a very similar setup, and he has the speakers towards the openings (Gallo Reference 3.0's), and that works out pretty well.
And yeezh on the windows and fireplace -- I don't know what to do about the fireplace (cover it with felt?), but the windows should be easy enough -- heavy cloth drapes.
Correct, not the Eurythmics one. This one, not this one. Also, same Dave Stewart of Stewart & Gaskin, though that's more pop than prog. But still good, since he was involved.
