Initially, when I first heard of it, I thought because it contained a higher sampling rate and bit depth than is used commercially in either DSD or PCM, that it was some sort of hybrid...but it's just high bit-rate PCM. And yeah, I've been having a hard time tracking down some of the papers that I've heard about. (Those last two don't appear to work -- or am I missing something?)
