So how much less should I be ashamed of myself that I own several different copies of it: original vinyl 1CD 2CD SACD PS There's no excuse for not putting the whole recording on the SACD layer of the SACD. PPS I've also seen him live several times, which is >> a live recording. PPS It's mostly overdubs, what's so great about that?

Jesus Christ, I bet that's a relief. (And don't tell me I have no idea -- I actually had a server set in my office right next to me about 12 years ago -- it's how I got into headphones and closed headphones.)

I guess it depends on how much you enjoy making music, and whether or not you can make it without the bass amp. (Have you tried a sansamp?)

Speaking of long time -- I finally got those LED lights I ordered a couple months back (first shipment got lost, and I didn't say so right away), and people asked for reactions: Meh. They're definitely not bright enough for lightbulb replacement, I'll have to try a brighter wattage (IIRC, they were 3 watts).

I used to have that problem, but I don't remember the solution, and I don't have that problem now, so can't try to recreate it (the solution). Try a different USB port? I do remember patience being one of the problems -- need to give the two devices a chance to shake hands and whatnot. I do vaguely remember that I (a) had to have iTunes already running, and ( the iPhone should be on. Trying Hopstretch's suggestion is also a good idea.

That's why I recommend getting the best one can, because then you don't have to wonder. And I'm not just being snarky -- the psychology of "wondering" plays into your musical enjoyment. Of course, it also plays into one's empty wallets/pocketbooks/purses/etc., but that's your problem.

No, if it's good for headphone listening, it's more than good enough for speaker listening.

I thought they were pretty much all bass light, except for a few in a small range (around 500, IIRC?), but that those were inferior in other ways, which is why they "went back".
