  1. I've seen them several times -- yes, you do. There is something about that music, multi-percussionists, and silly bald very blue men that just add up to something greater than the sum of the greatness of the parts.
  2. Wait -- to the DAC? So, what...does it reprogram an HDMI driver on the computer? I.E. how do it do it?
  3. We just need to design an HDMI DAC.
  4. That's pretty awesome, if I may say so. I have a great admiration for anyone who can instruct anything.
  5. Yello, Touch Yello
  6. FTFY? And then we can have AmeriCansJam, and then AmeriCansJamToo...
  7. I lollered. And then I lollered again.
  8. I've been playing lots of Porcupine Tree in the car since the concert -- mostly In Absentia, Deadwing, Fear of a Blank Planet, and, of course, The Incident. Soon, I'm going to roll over to the earlier albums and just go through them all (or rather, most of them -- will skip Metanoia, Voyage 34: The Complete Trip, &c.). Right now I've got "Darkest Eyes" stuck in my head. I think I'll leave it there. EDIT: Of course, it would help if I got the name right -- "Blackest Eyes".
  9. Ooo. Aaaaa.
  10. So Sunrise would take about 2-2.5 hours? And above the arctic circle, it could take days on the longest "days" (what are days based on sunrise/sunset called -- solar days?)?
  11. Ranked A+ as a transport in Stereophile's last list, so yeah -- I'm kind of curious myself.
  12. You'll get over it. Sound ueber alles.
  13. OH-poe? I thought it was ƏH-poe, as in ƏH-poe-zit.
  14. Is that the radioactive symbol on there? And if so, why? Is that how it's powered?
  15. You ever heard the Temptations' 7 minute version?
  16. Corduroy.
  17. Of course, now you know it, too. As do I.
  18. Sale price? Think I'll wait and see, though I am interested.
  19. Too. Fucking. Hip.
  20. Poor dolphin, doesn't look happy.
  21. I love Misplaced Childhood -- probably top 10 from the 80's. I lived it during the late 90's (had a tape that had the studio version on one side and the live version on the other). Me: new Yello.
  22. Someone else will have to correct you, I haven't actually seen the universals. Boomana? Duggeh? I know you two played around with the pair that Ms. Harvey sent you.
