  1. Kitties are win. They make the above post make sense.
  2. 5 Star Wars status updates
  3. Salad from Chop't. Me so has a smile like a Mezzaluna Knife.
  4. Jesus: 2TB / US$140 -- heck, even if you forget to send in the rebate, it's still only US$160.
  5. I also have to admit to not caring.
  6. Actually, it looks like it went back up on amazon. That's weird.
  7. You know, you're not having sex with her thumbs. Well, you're not having sex with her at all, but if you were, it wouldn't be with her thumbs. I have to admit to really not "getting" why people are so turned off by her thumbs. She won me over in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. But Charlize Theron has the wonderful Reindeer Games and 2 Days in the Valley to her credit.
  8. Fritz Reiner, Vienna, RCALSSACD -- this is just a little too gay for frequent listening*. *"...gay..." in the traditional sense, not in the contemporary -- in other words, I.E., it's just a little too fucking happy -- I mean, it's (Joseph) Strauss waltzes, after all
  9. On plasma burn-in And on a less serious note: How to fix a broken plasma screen
  10. &tag=headcaseorg-20
  11. And if that doesn't work fo you, I personally really like the Etymotic ER6i's that I posted...er...somewhere.
  12. While looking for the vi's, I noticed that they've started introducing the "loud enough" series, with the "LE" logo looking very much like the "UE" logo -- I'm thinking they didn't want to just rebrand the name to Logitech Ears, but that's what they're trying to imply, so still taking advantage of some of the UE branding.
  13. General Tso's Chicken -- the breakfast of champeens.
  14. Just in case anyone is having trouble finding it, here is the Logitech link.
  15. Because it says "Sold Out!" here: Amazon.com Gold Box: New Deals. Every Day.
  16. Duodecuple?
  17. I really should be kicking myself -- when I was married (yes, really), my wife was very understanding despite not understanding -- she was completely tolerant of my activities (within reason, financially), even though she could care less about sound. Hell, she got me my first pair of decent headphones. The only time she cared was when I spent too much on something, but it was only that -- she didn't try to control what I spent it on, just how much, and only for the reasonable reasons.
  18. It's just not intuitive -- materials don't usually oscillate in...well, in any of their characteristics. Except maybe things that have photosensitive properties.
  19. Yeah, but: "...It's better to burn out, because otherwise your drinking buddies will drink all the good stuff might have a good time that you didn't participate in while you're sleeping..." Just ... sounds a bit rushed.
  20. Castle -- still digging this show thoroughly. And it's not just the nonverbal, it's also the constant shift in gears. There's a couple of scenes where Detective Beckett has to talk to a relative of someone recently deceased right after a typical light-hearted moment -- catches me off guard every single fucking time. They even had one where the butler did it, and they didn't even ever use the word "butler" -- not in that episode, anyway -- there's another episode where he talks about the butler doing it.
  21. "...Roxanne... ...you don't have to put on the red light..."
  22. "...It's better to burn out, 'cause rust never sleeps..."
  23. Aw. So cute to see Dexter Jacob domesticated.
  24. No big, I'm not really in the market for IEM's, myself. But that was probably "black Friday good", which doesn't come along all that often.
