Was listening to a songwriting workshop by Yvette Young; Now listening to Al Di Meola home live event. From one great guitarist to another. Al Di Meola Plays Piazzolla Not an example: Just...superblime. I was in love with Al Di Meola playing Piazzolla before the album existed. (Libertango is from a different album, but I must've heard him play it live before this record came out, during the Cielo e Terra/Scenario era, which is when I first saw him play live.) It's hard to stay cranky when one is listening to music this beautiful.

(RIP) They're just trying to milk blood from a stone. (...stone...stone...stone...stone...stone...) Here, listen to this instead, it's actually creative: I especially liked their versions of "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" (kinda made it a trip-hop version) and "Sheep" (won't spoiler it).

I grew up when they were still considered less lean than chicken, and it was only after you suggested it, that I researched it and found out that they've been breeding pigs to be more lean, and it is, indeed, "the other white meat", and -- especially the tenderloin and the chops, maybe less so the ham -- is quite lean! So I will be partaking of the tenderloin and the chops frequently...but chicken thighs are still the best. And one of these days -- maybe when I get below 188 -- I'll splurge on a hamsteak.
