I want multiple pepper mills with handles, as I've become a bit of a black pepper and related snob connoisseur -- I have a thing of Phu Quoc black, Phu Quoc white, Phu Quoc red, pink peppercorns (which are really berries, so gum up the burrs 'n' stuff), regular black (mostly tellicherry, but some are undesignated), timut...or should I go electric? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It doesn't get much handier in size than the Pico Power -- those are 1/8" jacks on the front. Funny you should mention the DT880 -- I use my Pico Power with the DT1770. Also, it comes in purple.

What amp are you using? Amps make a world of difference, when it comes to bass. The Headamp Pico Power does a wonderful job of controlling the bass to the point of bondage and discipline, with a dominatrix's hand. ...not that I've ever experienced that.

I fixed it! (added a couple dollops of plain balsamic vinegar) It came out perfect. I've had 3 helpings today, will return to diet tomorrow. Maybe could be a little tangier, but at least I didn't make it too tangy.

pulled pork loin/tenderloin dry rub fell asleep (8 hours or so?) woke up, added tomato sauce, rocoto peppers, and (citrus?) flavoured balsamic vinegar went about my day (a couple hours) flipped everything went about my day (a couple hours) came back, and all the pork had dissolved -- I probably could have pulled them apart with a cheap, flacid, utensil I think it came out better'n any brisket I've ever made, too -- wasn't quite spicy or tangy enough, so... I ruined it -- added some beans, chipotle peppers, diced hot green chilies, now I need to add onions, garlic, and some more balsamic vinegar, maybe? or lime juice... Now (before onions) it's spicy enough but not tangy or sweet enough -- the onions will take care of the sweet, so maybe just some regular rice vinegar and call it done before I ruin it for real.
