Have you ever heard Alice Sara Ott, Alfred Brendel, or Marth Argerich interpreting Chopin? I don't really keep track of favourites, but those are my go-tos. I have many others, and very few of them do Chopin wrong (including, I'm sure, Pogorelich, I just don't recall ever listening to his).

Naw, I'm good. I don't do pics.

LOL, I looked at the picture first, and thought, "those are the most loosely packed summer rolls I've ever seen".

I saw my bald spot, so I shaved my head.

I just nominated Hiromi's Sonicbloom's Time Control as album of the decade, 2000-2009 on I&W (prog rock and prog metal) Discord Server. Hiromi's Sonicbloom was her, Martin Valihora (drums), Tony Grey (bass), and David Fiucynski (guitar), and -- IMHO -- Fiucynski was as important as she was in making their sound so appealing to me. You should check out all of their albums if you aren't already familiar. It's a 3 dimensional 4 faceted gem.

Happy belated, Kerry! Hope it was great. (party favour noise)

Unrelated, I'm in the mood for Joss Stone, so I'm listening to Joss Stone.

Frippertronics, Pink Floyd's Money loop, pretty much anyone with the brains and the creativity was drawn to looping, it seemed ... I had a friend (Mikroknytes) who had 3 other friends, and they each had a send to the next person in the square, and would effect (radically) the signal given to them, then pass it along. It was a brilliant performance. In fact, I was just listening to this track: ...and heard a very familiar sound in the background of the early part of the track -- someone was playing a Roland Space Echo on infinite loop.

Finally started putting my guitars up on Reverb. Two purples and one pink, no lie. For those that want to follow along on the pre-emptive yurt emptying: Dusty Chalk's gear

Purple AND Pink?!?!? HAWT. That said, I need a four wheel drive for my next car. Subaru don't even make one, even in the Wilderness trim. I'm not sure I need a four wheel drive over an all wheel drive with an independent suspension system, but that's what I'm looking for right now. My next place is going to be zoned RA, which means 2 miles of gravel and dirt roads and potholes that don't get filled for 9 months...maybe 13...until I even get to the boundary of my property.
