  1. Been reading a bunch of self-help books: The Four Agreements -- excellent! Highly recommended to everyone, spiritual or otherwise The Fifth Agreement -- in progress, but same Atomic Habits -- pretty great so far, we'll see if it sticks
  2. I'll take that dare...but, LOL, I already lost. Totally dig that bass playing and tone.
  3. I'm a huge fan of their, Open. https://album.link/us/i/1583719202
  4. What do you mean, "if"?
  5. Condolences, Todd.
  6. Animal Logic (Deborah Holland, Stewart Copeland, Stanley Clarke, and several guitarists and other guest musicians) are getting back together, so I'm listening to the new (ish -- 2022) tracks and giving their older stuff a relisten.
  7. Happy birthday! (party favour noise)
  8. Finished Night Agent and my long-lasting impression is that Luciane Buchanan is hella cute. The show was a nice little popcorn muncher -- I enjoyed that they had a female president without overly patting themselves on the back for that. Need to get back to Because This is My First Life, Udemy, &c. ...but I need a mindless guilty pleasure like that one for this time of night. Recommendations accepted. I'm thinking Beef since it gets "dark", according to the 30-words-or-less description. And since I've been having my own rage incidents.
  9. You know, she listens to a lot of silly stuff (considering her background), and then delivers. She also just did Child in Time and the number of time she stops it, and...just hilarious.
  10. Not today, but yesterday: had an interview with a hiring manager, it's a really good fit both ways. They called me back THE SAME DAY to set up an (actually) in-person interview, which means they will probably move forward with an offer. I am excite.
  11. Happy belated!
  12. Oooooohhhh (they're not from Europe, didn't think of that). Thanks for that, totally forgot.
  13. According to LinkedIn, this is straight out of the 1973 yearbook of University of the Pacific, if anyone wants to get a better look at the source material.
  14. I think he was referring to this:
  15. Wait, that (Madness' version) is a COVER?!?!? Also, I love the rich, complex waveform sounds of reed and double-reed instruments. It's one of those things I don't think has been well synthesized yet. Thank you for pointing out how delicious this one in particular sounds.
  16. of COURSE someone already thought of it
