I love Alcest. Enjoy. Check out Holy Fawn when you get a chance. Their latest album, Dimensional Bleed, is pure, unadulterated bliss. Nice. I love that album. If you like that sort of thing, also check out Alleycat by Nucleus. And if you want a rabbit hole to go down, check out T-Square and Casiopea.

My ex used to do rallies like that when she was young. She had a real knack for that sort of thing (she could guess most dinner bills to within a dollar, and usually got it closer). Also, billiards (the whole thing about rebounding and getting it as close as possible, but not touching... Sounds like a blast! Do get someone who is good at simple math like that. You can speed, but only if you're making up for lost time.

Wow, that's only an hour away, I wonder if they're hiring...I could probably contribute some records from my parents' collection that I inherited. EDIT: OHMIGOSH, they are.

The person in the video is not Wednesday Campanella, but rather Kom-I, in the same way that Christopher Walken is not Fatboy Slim. Watch for the 90 second oner starting at 0:13. EDIT: I am wrong, that is, indeed, a member of Wednesday Campanella, and the singer, but she left in 2021, so the current lead singer doesn't look anything like that.

I made my chili pork & beans again -- turned out super delicious!

Chili pork & beans (and other veggies: celery, mushrooms...okay, just those two) -- delicious!

Yeah, I'm sorry, I don't mean to bash on Mozart -- I think it says more about me than it does about him. I just thought it'd be funny to take those 6 words out like that. Please resume enjoying music, for Pete's sake. Yeah, obviously an overgeneralization (and I, too, like his Requiem, and I enjoy it when my girl HH plays his music -- that's when I decided I loved her the best -- she made me enjoy Mozart!).

Stay safe, y'all up there.

LOL, close, but no. (I listen to prog, for Pete's sake.) No, the sentiment I was trying to convey with that comment was similar to when someone says, "those were words". I just don't "get" Mozart. It doesn't resonate with me. It just doesn't feel "evocative" to me. There's not enough "there" there. And other words.
-
This is my impression of most Mozart in 7 words or less.
-
Yeah, that.

US$13K? That's not as bad as I thought it'd be.

I need a toolbox. Unfortunately I live in good ol' boy territory, so if I get the one I want, I'll probably get taken around back and...so I will just let y'all imagine:

When I saw it didn't come in pink, I forewent. I can only take so much emotional trauma.

The big difference between the first album and Candy-O is that they got a little more new-wavier. But it's still an insanely solid effort for That Difficult Sophomore Album.

Yeah, when I mentally rewound the presentation, they kept comparing the M2 Ultra with the M1 Ultra, not the M2 Max. WANT.
-
Citadel would have been better if the guy from Violent Night (the actor guy, not the Santa guy) was playing the male lead.
-
M2 Max and M2 Ultra on the Mac Studio. My eyes are watering. WANTT! Oh, and on the Mac Pro, too. (cries)

(in David St. Hubbins' voice) So you're not picturing it. You're picturing nothing. Contemplating the voidness...

I got an ad for Vinyl Moon -- a curated vinyl mixtape of sorts. https://vinylmoon.co/

I'm picturing that on some thinly sliced rye toast.
