Audio Technica FTW -- W2002, W5000. ...but what were those really dark ones that someone posted, vintages? The L3000's are "okay" -- I'm not particularly enamored with their looks, just their sound. I do like the fact that they look different, but I wish they came in black, even if it had to have light stitching. I could always run them over with a sharpie, I guess...

Actually, just find a single post by Kevin, and then find that link that shows all his posts -- about half of them are explaining why Ray's amp designs ...erm... "implementations" suck. After all, he doesn't post that much, so you shouldn't have to go back that far.

Actually, it seemed like the Raptor-bashing was predestined -- I.E. it was there in the potential energy before this thread even existed, waiting to happen.

That sounds...vomitory...what if it sounds better than either, and yet different from both, and still having its own weaknesses? And I should mention that I'm speaking in the abstract, I don't have anything specific in mind when talking about "it".
