  1. I like how the tubes look like they're in those tubes like from Event Horizon or whatnot. Click pic for info link.
  2. Hey, how'd you do that?!?!?
  3. Response to OP: that's a good way to get yourself banned. Or a really lame custom title, like "demanded this". Or no custom title at all, ever.
  4. One of Hirsch's turntable rigs -> Alesis Masterlink @ 24/96 -- I thought they were good.
  5. (a) The Suprema's are supposed to be nice; ( I think they're still worth a listen. I don't know too many high-efficiency loudspeakers that like being pushed -- that's not their forte. They like to be driven well at reasonable volumes. I've never heard someone describing any high-efficiency speaker as, for example, "rock and roll". Except maybe JBL's.
  6. Stupidest name for a speaker company ever
  7. Rain.
  8. We were on storm watch all day today, and nuthin' happened.
  9. You should donate them to some poor college kid. Ask for a school ID.
  10. ...yet...
  11. Yeah, other than those two differences, it's just like a gold star.
  12. It crosses the state/church line. If it said "yay satanists" or "yay wood pagans", I would have just as much of a problem, but somehow I doubt the government would consider such nonsense. The bill goes so far as to establish Christianity's "superiority", despite my feelings to the contrary. Government should keep their nose out of business in which their nose does not belong. You know, what if it said, "yay for publicly-schooled individuals"? Or "yay for people who touch themselves at night"? Or "yay for homosexuals"? Or "yay for people who eat omnivorously but secretly think the vegans are right"? "Yay for luddites"? "Yay for civil war battle recreationists"? You know, it's like posts from moderators stating imperatives (like "GTFO" or "STFU" or whatnot) are somehow perceived differently than posts from non-moderating members stating imperatives. Having the government involved is the problem -- I have no problem with individuals or even organized institutions such as churches saying "yay christians" (after all, someone has to -- I certainly won't). It is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
  13. Dude, it's a gold star.
  14. No, it goes further than that: -- that's what I meant by freedom from religious persecution.
  15. Cancel your cable. That's really the only way to get them to do anything. And I'm serious -- it's liberating.
  16. You touch yourself at night.
  17. Oh. You mean, he was agreeing with me? Yeah, I missed that, thanks for the clarification.
  18. Probably because he was home-schooled.
  19. Bill of Rights, dude -- Freedom of Religion, or, as I would prefer to interpret it, freedom from religious persecution.
  20. Who are you and what have you done with Billy's account? Don't undo it necessarily, I kind of like you better than Billy...
  21. But...but...but...(sputters)...what about separation of church and state?
  22. Marc and Jay Sitting in a tree One with a saw The other with a ...uh...thingy. Down came the baby, cradle and all. Or something.
