  1. In the "recent" column on the right, this thread is showing up as, "Anyone tried the new butt...". EDIT: Great, and now I'm the last to have replied.
  2. I'd seen it before, but yes, it's great.

I agree with Tkam -- doesn't appear to be anything special, and doesn't have that valuable (to me) phase control. I say, go SVS.

Yeah, don't think of it as boom, think of it as overhead.

I added a link in your original post that hopefully might make this clearer.
  7. No, that's what I'm saying -- my thought was totally misguided. I.E. never mind.
  8. And here I was, thinking you had some long-documented hatred towards Old Bay seasoning which I had totally missed.
  9. Ah.

I'll wander off and do some research on them. Can you use them with headphones?

Yeah -- what is it you're trying to accomplish again? I know you mentioned in that other thread that you weren't entirely happy with your 22Ls' bottom end, but what about it are you trying to fix? Personally, I wouldn't want a sub that you didn't have a continuous phase control. Now, I realize it's not technically a phase control, but rather a micro-delay, but it accomplishes what I want to accomplish. Does the T1 have this? I know the following have it: Sunfire, SVS, Krell; which is why I'm leaning towards SVS and Sunfire (can't afford the Krell; don't know if I need it's unearthliness). Also, I suppose if your receiver has that kind of thing, or if you have some kind of outboard device to do so, then you don't need it, and with the talent here, I'm sure someone could put something together for you. Or possibly some sort of 3rd-party device. It was only with that feature in my 2.1 system, the sub truly disappeared.
  12. Dew et.
  13. The Han Solo Affair -- for those of you with a Warner Bros./Keystone Cops/whatever mind.
  14. Artist: Jethro Tull Album: Songs from the Wood Song: "Hunting Girl" Lyric: She took this simple man's downfall in hand; I raised the flag that she unfurled. Rules: Screw them. Song: "Pussywillow" Lyric: Pussywillow --- down fur-lined avenue brushing the sleep from her young woman eyes. Runs for the train --- see, eight o'clock's coming cutting dreams down to size again. Pussywillow --- down fur-lined avenue brushing the sleep from her young woman eyes. Runs from the train. Hear her typewriter humming cutting dreams down to size again. Rules: Screw them, yet again.
  15. Well, then what were you planning on using as a source? Just use the analog input.
  16. Oh, another kickin' topping for popcorn: Old Bay seasoning.
  17. No, don't, just get something else. The target market is for people who want to use it straight out of the USB. I think.
  18. That's probably my single favorite moment in the entire series. He goes from happy to hurt to angry, and they do it without beating you over the head with it.
