  1. Go into a Staples or an Office Max or an Office Depot, and start sitting down in a couple of them. Some of them are just plain more comfortable than others, and it was something I noticed right away. I would tell you what I decided on, but I don't remember. A couple things you should look at: adjustable height (I actually prefer the ones that aren't hydraulic, because I tend to sit at the same height all the time); make sure there isn't a slight rise right at mid-thigh (cuts off your circulation); also, make sure it doesn't press on other pressure points; good lumbar support (everyone has their own, so adjustable is good, but if you find one you like that isn't adjustable, that's fine, too. Go towards the end of the day, when you're already tired.
  2. Yup, I had a couple pair back then, velcro fly and all. I got over it. I may still have them, but only to laugh at.
  3. Yeah, I don't understand that, either. Never did.
  4. Okay, one more: I'm crying here.
  5. OMG OMG OMG And you DIY'ers should enjoy this one:
  6. I love physics/science/engineering jokes, to wit: I'm definitely going to have to investigate this further.
  7. Did you see the Van Der Graaf Generator competition?
  8. I fixed it -- ER -- you had us going through fark which was requiring a login.
  9. At first, I misread the paragraph about the crowbar. I thought it said that they needed it to get her ass off the toilet.

Oh, okay. I thought he was just talking about his time "walking on the wild side". And the coloured girls go, 'doot do-doot, doot, doot do-do doot doot do-doot...' Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  11. It's not that one is better than the other, headphone listening is just different from speaker listening. If I had that kind of money, I'd definitely be spending it on the best headphone amp (probably commission another Dragon) I could.

It depends on the guy, actually. Some guys have wiry, painful facial hair, some (like me) have soft, fine hair. Unfortunately, the painful hair is usually the one that looks better, my "soft fine" hair looks like pubic hair. Plus, I have this weird tri-color thing going on -- blond moustache, turning gray under the chin, dark brown pretty much every where else. Even after all of that, it still looks better than clean-shaven.

  16. http://suicidegirls.com/members/Martin_Atkins/ http://suicidegirls.com/members/WilWheaton/ http://suicidegirls.com/members/warrenellis/ http://suicidegirls.com/members/scott_ian/ WTF? I kind of get the impression these are the actual people. Oh, and in case you don't know what suicidegirls is: NSFW!
  17. Sounds painful. You shouldn't put "miss" and "vault" into the same sentence.
  18. Only if they've filled out their location information, which is optional, and optionally accurate. Your best bet is posting an interest thread in the meets forum. Oh, and I will add a link to my above post for the lazy you.
  19. Go back and read the entire "slow forum" thread. But you should really just quick fooling around and get back to work, you're lucky you have a job, you lazy SOB. :stick:
  20. I've heard of it, but I haven't heard it.
  21. WTF is that? It's pretty (black)...looks like a big...capacitor...(hypnotizedly) I. Do. Want. One.
  22. Yeah, I distinctly remember that feeling during the last episode.
  23. I disagree -- I enjoyed it just as much as the first season.
  24. Or netflix, yes. The Battlestar Galactica pilot miniseries is a good way to determine whether or not you're interested enough in the show to pursue watching it further. I bet you'd like Sports Night -- it actually has very little to do with sports, and is more of an ensemble cast type thing about behind the scenes of the fictitious number three network sports show. There's wonderful interplay between people, in various states of mental duress (love, life, sickness, both mental and physical, and all that). Other than that, yeah, you'd have to tell us more about the sorts of shows and movies you've liked, and perhaps why you've liked them. Do you like any of the CSI shows? How about Law & Order? Uh...please tell me you're not a Disparate Housewives or Sex in the City kind of gal.
  25. Kitty dildos?
