Do any of you guys have any digital video experience? I need to shoot some footage, and I am trying to decide between using the D750 and figuring that out or buying a fancy video camera, Blackmagic 4K, Sony, Canon Pro kind of thing. Anyone have any experience with the video side of the camera world?

Did a model shoot yesterday with some great ladies and motorcycles. First time I have used big lighting systems. It was pretty fun.

Because KD has taken dramatically more contested shots, being an alpha on a team without great outside shooting presence. So many shots taken by lesser Warriors are wide freaking open, because of intense defense on the shooters. Now, with a pick and roll in which both participants can shoot lights out and even number 3 and 4 shooters must be guarded, this could be a type of basketball that we have not seen before. The Heat back in the days did not have this shooter line-up, it would appear this team will require massive effort on defense from competitors not to just get steamrolled. I guess everything has to play out on the court, but I do not remember a team with such a spread of weapons in their prime, in any sport.

Heading over to see KONGOS and Elle King tonight and contemplating The Decemberists tomorrow night.

Thanks Jim, the event was last week and ended up being an unmitigated disaster that left me sick, alone and homeless the next morning due to a comedy of errors and the girl I had been seeing since the week I got here deciding to walk away, while I was homeless (locked out of the house and in a hotel) and sick (food poisoning).
