For those that need it you can download the iPhone4 Case Program app from the app store now to choose your case. A good amount of cases to choose from in my opinion.

I bought mine on Tuesday and it shipped on Wednesday. Nate, I looked at removing the screen, it looks fairly simple. Wouldn't cutting off that flap affect the overall rigidity of the rest of the rubber cover?

The headphone access sucks and definitely won't fit the stupidly big jack on the whiplash cables. It might fit the JH13s but it will be close as the frame gap is not too wide. Every time you want to use the headphone jack you have to pull up the flap, which is annoying enough, but then every time you try to jam the flap back into place it pop some other part of the rubber out of alignment. The screen protector is pretty bad so I wish it was like the iPad and I could just go without. Tactile feel is pretty grainy and it gets greasy really fast and I get the rainbows/oil slicks all over the screen.

Congrats Vicki. My Otterbox Defender case of the iPhone and iPad showed up today. They are okay but I do not think either one will be my daily carry set up. Too bulky and the crazy sticky outer rubber attracts dust and sticks in pockets. The picture of the back shows the gap around the dock door because I did not have it properly jammed into the right holes at that time.

Got the new Defender Otterbox case for the iPhone. I guess it would do a good job of protecting the phone if dropped but I can't say I am a big fan of it or the iPad one that also came today. The sticky black outer rubber layer gives great grip but makes them a dust magnet and hard to remove from a pocket. I guess I might have to use the giant freakin holster that came with it if it gets too bad.

That CNET test showed the T-Mobile service being pretty good in Manhattan. We had t-Mobile BBs at work for a short time and they were okay in NYC but really sorry wherever I traveled. I have still found nowhere in the area that I do not have fantastic AT&T service.

I got a 7 piece set of these at Bed Bath and Beyond. It is All-Clad and the girl at the store told me they were good. I also got a grill pan from Calphalon because the All-Clad company did not seem to have one and the iPad told me I needed one.

You should let me practice for a bit before you sign on to eat my creations. I really like the pans I bought and the Epicurious app is giving me my ideas and shopping lists so I think I should be an expert within a few months.

A set of pots and pans and other assorted kitchen stuff so I can try out that fancy kitchen that I have been storing crap in for two years.

Decided to order the iPhone Otterbox Defender case to go with the matching iPad case I ordered last week. Their website must have been inundated with orders as it was flaky as hell and when I submitted my order it kept telling me the shipping price had changed since I added the item to my cart so the order did not go through. I of course kept trying until I finally got a successful order page. Thinking all was well I went on with my day until a few minutes later when I get several e-mails on the iPad telling me about the 6 different orders I managed to make of this stupid case. Replied to one of the e-mails as their 888 number seems to be constant busy signal so I will see how this works out. I might end up down on the street with the purse and watch sales guys trying to sell my extra cases if Otterbox does not come around and fix my orders.

Ian, I thought you did that a long time ago. Congrats.

Not any less scientific than the videos that started all the crying about the iPhone. Tried it holding the iPhone and the Incredible at the office and the Incredible dropped one bar almost immediately when held on the bottom and the iPhone did nothing when doing the "death grip". Several tests showing the same occurrence with several other phones but I guess since all those phones together will not sell as many this year as the iPhone did in the first weekend it is not a big deal.

Are Motorola and HTC going to have to give out free cases now also? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFc9vnocIzQ Videos: death grip on EVO, Droid Incredible, Nexus One, Galaxy 1, G1, etc. - Mac Forums

I tried the update tonight as I could not leave the iPhone plugged in to charge as it kept syncing over and over again. Of course the install failed so I had to restore the phone completely as it got stuck in the update screen and giving me the error 9 that everyone has been getting. Restoring everything now. Pretty miserable software update but I did notice it also updated firmware during the process.

Yeah that would be tough, but I have never had a loss of apps, I have just had screwed up apps that I had to delete and then DL the new version later down the road when the developer figured out what they were doing.
-
All I have ever had to do is DL the app again from the app store and it tells me since I already bought it I will not be charged.

Activated the Head-Case Fantasy Football League for our second season. Anyone looking to join the group and have a little fun this season let me know and I will sign you up. We already have the top four teams from 2009, and Dinny , signed up to play this year.

Well Training Camp is right around the corner so I am checking in to see if we have enough players to field a Headcase Fantasy Football League for 2010. Who's In?

I would theoretically think that the left handed people would be the greatest affected by the flaw as they will typically cup the phone in their hand bridging the two elements. I have several cases now as I am not one of the "its too pretty to cover" people so I shouldn't have that problem anywhere I go.
