Decided to switch the blue NATO to the blue faced Breitling and put the Grey on the Doxa.

Looks good Dan. What color NATO did you get.

Mike, great looking watch. Dan, is that one of the new ones from Panatime? I thought you got NATOs I put the Doxa on a NATO for the weekend.

Mike, I have seen a lot of the Ocean watches and look forward to hearing your review. Is Ocean the company that you know the owner? Check out the Dive forum over there for info on the DWP. It basically has really good specs for a low cost watch and is a limited edition of 100.

Had a package waiting for me when I got home. This was the watch that I ordered from another HCer on Watch-u-seek. This is the Dive Watch Project watch made with input from forum members over at WUS. This thing is a beast. Weighs almost half a pound and is probably twice as thick as the Doxa 750t GMT. Comes in a nice case with space for 4 watches and tools. The accessories that come with the watch are really quite good for a watch of this value. Build is also very good. Lume is excellent and though heavy, the watch wears well. I am enjoying the WUS forums so I thought this would be a nice Dive watch for the collection.
  6. Happy Birthday.
  7. Took the 85 f1.4 out for some wide open flower shooting.
  8. Nice Mike. I have some of the Zulu/NATO straps and a Watch-U-Seek DWP SE Watch coming my.
  9. Another watch on another forum, surprisingly from a Headcase member (not Mike).

While I am definitely a fan of new-to-me toys over old-to-me toys, the Seamaster Pro is still my favorite as it is one of the longest held and most worn watches for me over the years.

Well the second Doxa I ordered showed up at my office today but the first one is still in transit as the Post Office evidently is slower to my house than to my office. A little extreme shallow DOF shot of some of the divers. Probably should have worked on the setup a bit more to give some detail to the Omega and Rolex but I had enough beer tonight not to really care that much.
  12. Happy Birthday Ryan.
  13. Of course, what was I thinking.

Got some new Crocodile shoes for the Panny while out at lunch.
  15. Hasn't a 750t passed through your collection Mike?
  16. That looks like a fantastic setup John.
  17. Called a watchmaker to find out why a watch I bought last week had not shipped and ended up getting talked into buying another one so the first one has company while it waits to be shipped. Also got another 4 watch winder as I decided I had far to much uncovered surface area in my room.
  18. AH, I do have that. It seems like it was better when I could just move the iLok between computers.
  19. Thanks, I guess I will have to try that.
  20. Okay Amarra 2.2 is out and it no longer uses the iLok thingee. Unfortunately it asks you for an activation code and says if you bought it recently they would e-mail it to you but if you have had it you are supposed to use your serial number. I cannot find a serial number on my old version of Amarra. Does anyone know where it is?
  21. Yeah I have had no issues with the regular shipping. I almost always get my 2-day shipments in one day. The same day contracted delivery is the only one that I have had issues with.
  22. It is funny. All of the same day stuff here in NYC is driven out from Pennsylvania across some distance. I am not sure how they can afford it.
  23. The same day delivery service here has only worked once in the 8-10 times I have tried it. Though the 3.99 same day delivery is always very tempting.

Unfortunately all the work I have been doing has cut into my watch purchasing. Took the day off after a morning appointment and picked up a watch in the city and bought some others on the Interweb. Got this guy. and bought a Doxa 5000 and a Kobold SS. My collection of everyday wear watches is getting very diver heavy. Now I need some more pilots.
  25. Happy Birthday
