  1. I wouldn't imagine they would be Ari. The Calfee showed up. What a massive undertaking it is to take the ballistic nylon off of every piece of the bike. I have 34 pieces of nylon shaped to cover all of the bike. I have everything together except the brakes. Need to figure out how to adjust road bike brakes to fit properly. When connected the rear brakes are locked down and the front brake pads are so close together I can't even get the wheels to fit between them.
  2. Filet Mignon topped with Foie Gras on a bed of truffle mashed potatoes and grilled white Asparagus.
  3. Thanks everyone. I actually had to fly out to Penn State for my Birthday so my wish is that there is not enough snow here to cancel the only flight out of here tomorrow night so I can get home and try a short ride on the new Calfee.
  4. You should think about making a DIY sit bone measuring device since you do not have a shop. At my shop you sit on some cushion that indents at your sit bones and then you measure to figure out our seat size. Most seats seem to be around 134 but you can find them at 144, 155 and 165 pretty easily if you look.
  5. The reason you don't have pain in your sit bones is because they are spaced farther than the seat is wide so no weight is being absorbed by them. The pressure will be relieved greatly if you get the right seat. The stock seat on most road bikes will most likely not be the right seat for a big guy.
  6. You probably need a wider seat. I take the stock seat off immediately and switch to one properly situated to my sit bones and the pain disappears.
  7. Dinny, the Group has spoken. It must be so.
  8. Yeah Mango Chris King hubs have been ordered to go on brushed aluminum rims/spokes.
  9. Traveling quite a bit but I hope to get everything together while Colin is here for whatever ride we are able to get together. I think Nebby will be coming down and since Dinny is coming down I will have to figure out how to get him on a bike as well. Hopefully Chris and Juan will be able to ride along as well. Really need HC jerseys.
  10. The Desalvo is in.
  11. That sounds great Jacob.
  12. I always thought in-n-out were some of the worst fast food burgers I have ever had.
  13. Happy Birthday Mike.
  14. Had a shorter ride with Chris this weekend but it seemed like a much greater workout. I would have thought the 830ft elevation gain over 15.5 miles was more than double that based on the climbing. Great workout that I think is really paying off as the hills I thought were tough not too long ago seem like nothing now. This was my first ride with my bars dropped another 20ish mm so I had to get used to that. It was really a great day for a ride, even if I thought that last big hill coming home was going to kill me.
  15. That is okay, you can just drop me when you need to head back and actually get a nice work out on the way home.
  16. I am up for a ride. Made some adjustments on my stem spacers I want to try out. Hopefully the front wheel doesn't fall off.
  17. You must have been really small at your lowest Chris, as you are pretty freakin thin now. I am hoping to put some miles on this weekend as it is really nice outside.
  18. Happy Birthday Grahame.
  19. The link is just to a description of paypal. You have to choose Paypal in the drop down to the left of the Paypal Logo.
  20. Done. As a Type 1 myself I am really looking forward to riding in the Virginia event this year.
  21. Happy Birthday.
  22. Ended up being a great ride down to Mt. Vernon in the mist and fog. I went really slow and had trouble on some of the hills so I think Chris did not get much of a workout but it was really fun.
  23. 21.3 miles back at Chris' place.
  24. Mile 8
  25. Absolutely great deal. We really need to plan for a HC MTB trip somewhere.
